In fact, you never think about what a language in a gesture is… as I understood from the model, it is a language somewhat reminiscent of hieroglyphics: something is expressed by individual letters, and something is a whole series of associative pictures that have a single meaning for those speaking. It turned out that sign language is a whole unplowed field in the world of linguistics, very few people study it. This language is the same as all the others, it changes, it has its own grammar (for example, the fact that the negation is placed after the verb), it has origins and it evolves. The only difference is the absence of sound. This is an amazing world that I did not suspect.
